The IX Tubing Anchor is a mechanically set, double-grip anchor engineered for durability and reliable performance in debris-laden environments. Derived from the proven IX Packer design, it has been shortened and simplified and does not include a sealing element. The anchor is suitable for a wide range of applications in both shallow and deep wells, including treatment, testing, injection, pumping, and production. Because it utilizes robust IX Packer components, maintenance and repair are quick and cost-effective.

Its double-slip design allows the anchor to be left in either tension or compression, depending on well conditions and operational requirements. The J-slot configuration enables easy operation with a 1/4-turn right-hand set and right-hand release. A variety of J-body combinations also allows the anchor to be run in conjunction with other packers.

The IX Tubing Anchor is equipped with an adjustable, straight-pull emergency shear release. When activated, the anchor resets and can be moved downhole.
