Tubing Anchor Catcher-Drag Block
Tubing Anchor Catcher - Drag Block
The TAC-DB Tubing Anchor is a retrievable, positive-action anchor designed to hold the tubing string in either tension or compression. Unlike conventional drag spring anchors, it incorporates drag blocks, allowing it to be run to greater depths.
The anchor secures the tubing in place if a split occurs and prevents movement during pumping strokes. Tension-set tubing anchors also help prevent tubing and rods from falling into the well in the event of component failure, reduce wear on tubing and rods, and enhance overall pump efficiency.
