T-2 On / Off Tool
The ON/OFF TOOL is a high-pressure tubing disconnect device that is designed to provide a simple and reliable means of retrieving the production string without unseating the companion packer below.
It can be run above and anchored into a permanent production packer or on top of any retrievable packers which will remain set without applied tubing tension or weight. A seating nipple profile is available in the top of the stinger to provide a means of plugging the lower zone while the tubing is pulled. This location of the blanking plug provide for minimum debris buildup on top of the blanking plug.
It is designed as a two-piece tool, consisting of a running Overshot and Stinger. Applications for the ON/OFF TOOL include testing, treating production, completion and other remedial operations.

- Automatic re-engagement with set-down
- May be run with or without shear screws. Can be pinned in a shear-up or shear-down position
- 2-3/8”, 2-7/8”, 3-1/2” & 4 1/2" tubing threads available
- Bonded seals allow multiple disconnects without retrieval
- Nipple Profile accepts blanking plugs or other accessories, location of profile assures minimum debris accumulation on top of the plug.
- Wash over shoe profile allows rotation through sand and other debris
