The VLT Retrievable Packer is a compression-set packer with a hydraulic hold-down, engineered for enhanced reliability in rugged service. The hydraulically actuated upper hold-down provides increased surface area, ensuring the packer remains securely in place. It is ideally suited for high-pressure, high-temperature applications.

Key features of the VLT Retrievable Packer include a positive rotational lock on all internal connections, enabling the transmission of extreme torque values in both left- and right-hand directions. Backup rings on all O-rings enhance sealing reliability under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.

The VLT Retrievable Packer is also available with extra-long top and bottom subs to facilitate hydraulic tong make-up and break-out.
