Description & Application:
The Polished Bore Receptacle (PBR) features a precision-honed seal bore for interfacing with a tie-back seal mandrel or tie-back packer. The PBR provides an extension point for subsequent liner-top packer installation and serves to protect the running-tool assembly during in-hole deployment of the hook-up. When equipped with a junk screen, the PBR also enhances debris protection within the wellbore.
