Permanent Retainer Production Packers
The bottom-set FA and FAB Retainer Production Packers feature a body lock ring and setting sleeve positioned at the lower end of the packer, along with an oversized seal bore at the upper end. Due to size limitations that prevented conversion to a top set configuration, all small-size FA and FAB packers remain bottom-set. This unit covers those legacy bottom-set packers that continue to be included in the product line.
The FAB Retainer Production Packer is a variation of the FA Packer and is equipped with a threaded bottom guide designed to accommodate a range of extensions. Available extensions include the Mill-Out Extension and the Seal Bore Extension.

- When set with the Baker type E-4 Wireline Pressure Setting Assembly, the FA Retainer Production Packer provides a safe, fast, and economical solution for installing a permanent, large-bore, drillable packer at any predetermined location within the casing.
- The smaller sizes of the FA Retainer Production Packer are designed for tubing less completions and feature a large upper sealing bore that provides the maximum possible flow opening through the packer.
