The Hydro set IV is a single-string, hydraulic-set, retrievable packer. It is set using tubing pump pressure, with the applied setting force secured by a body lock ring. The Hydro set IV is ideal for use as a tandem packer alongside double-grip packers, which lock the tubing in place. Release is achieved through a straight pull that shears the retention pins.
