The Permanent Hydraulic Isolation Packer is a durable production packer designed to support significant weight below the packer. It features a large internal diameter for enhanced flow capacity and is equipped with upper and lower centralizing slips to ensure reliable setting in deviated well sections.
The setting mechanism for the Permanent Hydraulic Isolation Packer is integrated into the packer itself. Activation is achieved by pressurizing the tubing or casing once the packer reaches the desired setting depth.
Features
- Full strength, full circle carburized slips.
- Expandable metal back up rings provide a metal to metal barrier with the casing wall to prevent element extrusion.
- Rotationally locked components for rotating into linear tops and horizontal sections, and for ease in milling.
- Setting cylinder below the packing element reduces leak path.
- External pressure test clamp on packer are available for shop testing.
