The dual-string production packer is a hydraulically set, double-grip, retrievable packer designed to isolate the annulus from the production conduit. This versatile packer features a patented sequential upper-slip release system, allowing each slip to be released individually and reducing the force required for packer retrieval. Optimized slip, cone, and upper-slip body angles work together to direct forces for smooth and reliable slip release from the casing.
