The Casing Scraper is used to remove scale and debris from the casing ID. The use of the scraper helps to ensure that tools can properly run and set in casing.

Another Type Casing Scraper - Ball Seat Type
We have also scraper is hydraulically activated by dropping a ball from surface. When the ball lands on the internal seat, pressure builds up, shifting the mandrel and forcing the scraper blades outward into contact with the casing wall.
